Let's help Connor's Heroes in the Anthem Quest for the Cure

Let's help Connor's Heroes in the Anthem Quest for the Cure

Are you up for the Challenge?  Marshall Mechanical is honored to be a sponsor of Connor’s Heroes and the Anthem Quest for a Cure treasure hunt, taking place on Saturday, September 26th, from 1:00 – 3:30, with festivities ending at 5 p.m.

Even the Marshall Mechanical website is a “clue” location for the Ravenchase treasure hunt!

You can register your team or individually at http://connorsheroes.org. The quest starts and ends at the Virginia Historical Society.

So get your team together and race through the musem district to solve the secrets of the Quest for the Cure.

Connor is our hero. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in August 2003 when he was just 22 months old. He has been in remission since September 2003 and he ended 2-1/2 years of treatment in March 2006. Connor bravely endured the ups and downs of his treatment with the help of music, his friends and family, and his favorite doctors and nurses at the clinic. Connor inspires all who meet him with his unending zest for life.

Connor is our Hero.

Connor is our Hero.

Connor’s Heroes Foundation is our way of saluting the heroes in Connor’s life and to help provide heroes in other children’s lives. Childhood cancer affects not only the child, but the entire family. We want to make life a little easier for the children who must endure cancer treatment — the true heroes among us, as well as their family — the unsung heroes! We also know that anyone can be a hero to a child or family suffering through this disease, and we want to encourage everyone to join us in this battle.

Proceeds of the Anthem Quest for the Cure event benefit the Jamie Hess Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Research Fund at the VCU Massey Cancer Center.  Feature YOUR hero at http://connorsheroes.org and share using Facebook and Twitter.

Richmond HVAC Engineer Talks Twitter at Virginia Council of CEOs Luncheon.

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

Sean Cantrell, owner of Marshall Mechanical, gets the opportunity to share the stage with Dave Saunders, president of Madison & Main, at last Thursday’s Virginia Council of CEOs luncheon.

Sean tells his peers how social networking, blogging, key website changes and SEO/PPC ads have all positively impacted his business in just the last few months.

“Much of the new residential business Marshall Mechanical has received recently has been from new customers finding our company online, reading our blog, following us on Twitter or checking out our LinkedIn profile,” Sean says.

And there’s more helpful information coming on the website and the blog for both residential customers as well as commercial. Just today, Sean announced he’d match the residential Lennox rebates dollar-for-dollar thru the Lennox June 12th spring offer period, up to $1,200.

In addition to providing Richmond HVAC and plumbing services, Sean is available for speaking engagements or panel discussions on social networking or engineering design and solutions. Please call the Marshall Mechanical office at 804.323.0189 for more information.
